In 1985, as a student at Illinois State University, George McGuire joined the Northwestern Mutual intern program. He completed his senior year with a bachelor of science in marketing and national runner-up status for his internship. George joined the company full-time in 1986 and is proud to say he has been with Northwestern Mutual ever since. He has qualified for Million Dollar Round Table recognition several times and also attained his Certified Life Underwriter and Chartered Financial Consultant designations.
George McGuire is president of the Lake County chapter of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors. His interest in small businesses has also led George to become a member of the Illinois Restaurant Association.
